IES FILES

File format created by the illuminating Engineering Society fot the purpose of standardizing the electronic transfer of photometric data. This format established the sequence in wich the photometric data should be placed. The norm referring to this format is ANSI/IESNA LM-63-02.
IES-format files are used to make lighting calculations with specialized software such as DIALux.
